Clear a Search

Use Clear Search to remove the search expression from the saved or legacy search in order to select and build a new search.

Prerequisites: Create a new search or open an existing search.

To clear a search:

  1. Click Advanced Settings to open the advanced options for building a custom search.
  2. On the Searches drop-down list, click to display the list of your saved and legacy searches.
  3. Click to open a saved or Legacy search. The Edit <Hub/App name> Search opens.
  4. On the Actions bar, click Clear Search to remove the search expression. Vantagepoint removes the search expression and the name of the saved or Legacy search. You can add other search criteria to the saved search.
