Employee Count and Utilization Dashboard

Use the Employee Count and Utilization dashboard to monitor employee numbers and how productive those employees' labor hours have been.

The employee count analytics provide overall staff size and the current year's hiring total and turnover percentage. They also give you a quick view of how your employees are distributed across your organizations, geographical locations, job titles, general labor categories, and labor types.

The labor utilization portion of the dashboard provides an overview of labor hours and cost and of how efficiently employees are being used. Use these analytics both to highlight top performing organizations and to identify organizations that are not contributing enough to revenue generation.

  • Employee Count Summary
    The Employee Count Summary displays the number of employees employed by your firm as of today's date, the number of new employees hired during the current year to date, and the turnover percentage for the current year to date.
  • Employee Location/Job Title/GLC/Labor Type List
    The Employee Location/Job Title/GLC/Labor Type list breaks down the number of current employees based on location, job title, general labor category, or labor group type, as of today's date.

    The Direct Utilization summary displays the overall direct utilization percentage for your firm for the current fiscal period or for the current fiscal year to date.
  • High/Low Analysis Table
    The High/Low Analysis table enables you to display direct, indirect, and total hours or cost, with utilization percentage, for the organizations with either the highest or lowest direct labor hours or labor cost. Employee labor hours and cost are assigned to each employee's current home organization.
  • Revenue Per Employee by Org Table
    The Revenue Per Employee by Org table displays project revenue, employee count, and revenue per employee by performing organization.
