What can I do in this tab?

If you use roles, use this tab to specify the role a user must have to enter notes in the Notes tab of the Quick Project Setup screen (Projects\Maintain\Project) for this template ID.

If you leave the role blank, any user can enter the billing format.

When should I use this tab?

If you use quick project templates in Quick Project Setup, complete the setup on this tab before you enter a project in the Quick Project Setup screen or the Generate Quick Project WBS screen.

Where do you set up roles?

In Costpoint web, set up roles in the Workflow Roles screen (Administration\Maintain\Workflow).

In the Costpoint client/server version, set up roles in the Design menu of the Workflow module in the Others domain.

Notes Role

If you use roles, enter, or use Lookup to select, the role that a user must have to enter notes in the Notes tab of the Quick Project Setup screen for this template ID.

If you leave the Notes Role field blank, any user can enter notes.
