Use this subtask to assign standard text to print on the purchase orders of selected projects. After setting up the codes, you can assign them to projects in this subtask so that the text associated with the code will print on any purchase orders or requisitions that have charged the selected project.
This subtask consists of two table windows and one subtask and they can be used in the following manner:
The Standard Text Codes table window displays the text codes that are available for selection. The text codes are set up in the PO Standard Text or the Sales Order Standard Text screens.
The Standard Text table window displays the text codes that have been selected for use on this project.
The Where-Used subtask displays the system-defined documents on which the standard text can be printed. The system-defined documents are linked to the standard text code in the Sales Order Standard Text screen.
Use this subtask when you are initializing the project and before entering purchase orders. You can add standard text to your project at any time.
Use the table window in this block to select the text codes for the project. You can set up text codes in the PO Standard Text or Sales Order Standard Text screen.
This non-editable field displays the text codes that are available for selection.
This non-editable field displays the text code description.
When you have highlighted the codes for the specific project, use the Select pushbutton to transfer them to the Standard Text table window.
This table window displays the text codes that have been selected for use on the project.
This non-editable field displays the standard text code that has been selected for this project.
This non-editable field displays the description for the standard text code selected.
Use this field to activate or inactivate the standard text code for this project. The status will be originally set to active when the standard text code is originally selected. You can change it at any time.
