Use this screen to create reports of travel items that have not been matched (reconciled). You can customize reports to target those items that remain unmatched. You can select ranges of account numbers, organizations, projects, and expense types in addition to vendor and traveler IDs. You can sort these ranges in any order. Accounts, organizations, and projects can be leveled. Most often you will select by account/organization and traveler or vendor/expense type. Due to the significant features of this screen, two screen views comprise the Unreconciled Company Paid Items screen. By clicking the Next and Previous buttons you can toggle between the two screens to set up your customized report.
Run this report at any time to produce customized reports of unmatched items for the current or prior subperiods. Run this report as part of your procedure to match travel items. Use this report to find items that should match, but have small differences that you may have not chosen to accept as suggestions in the Match Company Paid Expenses screen. Because travel items can be expensed and matched in different periods, print this report as part of your period end processing to provide a record of items that remained unmatched at the end of the period. You can also use this report can to identify numerous unmatched transactions, by vendor, that may indicate over-due expense reports. To obtain the most accurate information, refrain from running this report when matches are being created on the Reconcile Unmatched Expenses or the Match Company Paid Expenses screens.
Use this group box to identify which elements of the unmatched transactions will be sorted, and in which order. You can select any/all items in any order, but you cannot assign an order number to an unchecked element. The default settings are Account first and Organization second.
