PLC LABOR SUMMARY

Use this subtask to view project labor grouped by the Project Labor Category (PLC) charged. Employee timesheet detail is posted to the Labor History table as part of the Labor Distribution posting. The process used to create the report table for the Labor Summary Report summarizes this information by project, fiscal year, period, subperiod and PLC.

Since data displayed in this table window is from the Project Labor Summary Report table, you must create that table for the project and subperiod needed before using the inquiry.

Fiscal Year

This non-editable field displays the fiscal year in which the transaction was posted.

Period

This non-editable field displays the period in which the transaction was posted.

Subperiod

This non-editable field displays the subperiod in which the transaction was posted.

Rate Type

This non-editable field displays the rate type for the Project Labor Category.

Organization

This non-editable field displays organization that was charged on the timesheet.

Project

This non-editable field displays a project number for the project. The project name displays in the field to the right.

Pd of Performance

This non-editable field displays the period of performance of the project.

Project Manager

This non-editable field displays the project manager of the project.

Customer Name

This non-editable field displays the customer name for the project.

Contract Value

These non-editable fields display the contract value for the project.

Cost

This non-editable field displays the cost portion of the contract value.

Fee

This non-editable field displays the fee portion of the contract value.

Total

This non-editable field displays the total contract value.

Table Window

The labor summary table window summarizes labor charges for the project, organization, and subperiod selected by PLC. The table window displays current subperiod, period-to-date, year-to-date, and inception-to-date hours and amounts charged to each PLC. The current subperiod and period are those you selected, and are carried forward from the main Project Inquiry screen. The Year-to-Date (YTD) and Inception-to-Date (ITD) fields are as of the subperiod selected.

Hours

These non-editable fields display the hours by Subperiod, Period, YTD, and ITD for the PLC.

Amount

These non-editable fields display the amount by Subperiod, Period, YTD, and ITD for the PLC.

Empl Detail

Click this button to view employee detail for the selected PLC. This detail is also stored in the Project Labor Summary Report table.
