Use this screen to enter, revise, and report amounts and hours required to complete ongoing projects. Additionally, you can update incurred amounts on their ETCs with inception-to-date actual costs from the project ledger. If you want to use budgeted amounts as estimate-at-completion amounts, you can update this screen with values entered in the Project Total Budgets screen. An in-depth, step-by-step instruction guide is provided as part of the Projects Special Topic PJ-13, "Estimate to Complete."
In this maintenance screen, you can enter and maintain the estimate to complete, the Latest Revised Estimate at Completion (LREAC), or the percent complete at the account/org level. When you enter any one of these components, the other two components are automatically calculated. The following is a summarization of the calculations that the screen will perform:
ETC = LREAC - Incurred
LREAC = Incurred + ETC
Pct Complete = Incurred/LREAC
Before using this screen, run the Update Incurred Cost for ETC screen (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete). If ETCs are based on budgeted amounts, run the Revise ETC screen also. Then, as estimates for individual cost components change, make modifications in this screen.
Enter, or use to select, a project. The non-editable field to the right will display the project description.

This field displays the date that incurred costs were updated for this project. When you run the Update Incurred Cost for ETC screen (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete), the update date is written to the ETC Update table. This date is displayed here.
This field displays the date that estimates-to-complete were updated based on budgeted costs for this project in the Revise ETC screen (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete). When you run the Revise ETC screen, the update date is written to the ETC Update table. This date is displayed here.
Enter an account or use to select an account.
This non-editable field displays the function code assigned to this account in the Project Account Groups screen (Projects » Project Setup » Controls). Examples of function codes include Labor and Non-Labor.
This field displays the cumulative actual cost incurred for this project, organization, and account. It is updated from the project ledger with inception-to-date costs up to and including the fiscal year, period, and subperiod specified. To populate this field, you must run the Update Incurred Cost for ETC screen (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete).
Enter the estimate-to-complete amount for this account. This amount may be calculated for you as part of the Revise ETC process (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete) if you elected to update ETCs based on subtracting actual incurred from budgets. If you modify this amount, the system will recalculate the Latest Revised Estimate at Completion (LREAC) by adding Incurred to Estimate-to-Complete.
Enter the LREAC amount for this account. This amount may have been calculated for you as part of the Revise ETC process (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete) if you elected to update ETCs based on subtracting actual incurred from budgets. If you modify this amount, the system will recalculate the Estimate-to-Complete (ETC) amount by subtracting Incurred from LREAC.
Enter the percent complete for this account. This amount may have been calculated for you in the Revise ETC process (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete) if you elected to update ETCs based on subtracting actual incurred from budgets. If you modify the percentage complete, the system will recalculate the LREAC by dividing Incurred by % Compl, and recalculate the ETC amount by subtracting Incurred from LREAC.
This field displays the previous estimate at completion that was updated in the Revise ETC screen (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete). Each time you revise ETC amounts, the system copies the existing ETC amount and percent to previous estimate and percent.
This field displays the previous percent complete for the previous estimate.
