Use this subtask to maintain Estimates-to-Complete for indirect costs. Enter and maintain ETC amounts by fiscal year and cost pool for the project, org, and account selected in the main screen. For example, if you are maintaining estimate-to-complete amounts for a direct labor account, you would enter estimates in this screen for each pool that burdens the direct labor account selected in the main screen.
This field displays the project ID from the main screen. The non-editable field to the right displays the project description.
This field displays the organization number from the main screen. The non-editable field to the right displays the organization description.
This field displays the account number from the main screen. The non-editable field to the right displays the account description.
This field displays the rate code from the main screen. The non-editable field to the right displays the rate code description.
Enter the fiscal year of the pool for which you are estimating costs.
Enter the pool number associated with this organization and for the fiscal year you entered.
This non-editable field displays the pool name.
This field displays the costs incurred for this pool against the selected project, organization, and account. Incurred costs are updated from the project ledger by the Update Incurred Cost for ETC utility (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete).
Enter the estimate-to-complete amount for this pool. This amount may be calculated for you as part of the Revise ETC process (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete) if you elected to update ETCs based on subtracting actual incurred costs from budgets. If you modify this amount, the system will recalculate the Latest Revised Estimate at Completion (LREAC) by adding Incurred plus Est-to-Compl.
Enter the LREAC amount for this pool. This amount may have been calculated for you as part of the Revise ETC process (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete) if you elected to update ETCs based on subtracting actual incurred from budgets. If you modify this amount, the system will recalculate Est-to-Compl by subtracting Incurred from the LREAC. The formula is: LREAC = Incurred + ETC.-
Enter the percent complete for this pool. This amount may have been calculated for you by the Revise ETC process (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete) if you elected to update ETCs based on subtracting actual incurred from budgets. If you modify the % Compl, the system will recalculate the LREAC by dividing Incurred by % Compl, and recalculate the ETC amount by subtracting Incurred from LREAC.
This field displays the previous estimate at completion that was updated by the Revise ETC process (Projects » Budgeting and ETC » Estimate to Complete). Each time you revise ETC amounts, the system copies the existing ETC amount and percent to previous estimate and percent.
