Use this screen to set up an unlimited number of alternate project structures that will be used for reporting purposes only. You can use these alternate structures to tie multiple projects together or to create a view of one portion of a single project.
Use this screen when establishing new alternate reporting structures and whenever changes to an existing structure are required.
Enter the number of the alternate reporting structure. This number will be the project reporting number, as it is used for reporting purposes only. The field to the right of the project report name displays the project report description. These fields are required.
The level of the Project Report Number displays here. If it is the top-level (Level 1), the Level table will be available for entry of all the lower levels and their names. If the level entered is not the top-level, the table window will be unavailable.
This column displays the level numbers for all the lower levels in the alternate project reporting structure. If the level of the Project Report Name entered is not Level 1, this information will be non-editable.
This column displays the number of digits for each level number. If the level of the Project Report Name entered is not Level 1, this information will be non-editable. This is a required field.
Enter the name of each level. This is the name that will be displayed on the report screen whenever a level of the alternate project reporting structure is selected. If the level of the project report name entered is not Level 1, this information will be non-editable. This is a required field.
Use this subtask to link projects to the alternate project reporting structure.
