Use this screen to link required medical tests with a particular employee. This table serves as a history or log of medical tests for each employee. For example, your company may require tuberculin testing or a pre-employment physical.
You will enter medical test information into this screen as the information becomes available. Before entering information on this screen, you must have already set up Medical Test codes in the Medical Surveillance Codes screen in Costpoint Personnel. You can add to this screen at any time, and enter an unlimited number of records.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the ID number of the employee for whom you want to record medical data. Your entry will be validated against the Employee table in the Basic Employee Info screen. The name of the employee is displayed in the field to the right of the ID. This is a required field.
Enter, or use Lookup to select, the code for the medical test that applies to this employee. The code will be validated against the Medical Surveillance table in Costpoint Personnel. This is a required field.
When you enter a valid code in the Medical Test field, this field displays its name or description.
Enter the one-character code that indicates the frequency of this test. This field is required. Valid values are "D" (Daily), "W" (Weekly), "M" (Monthly), "S" (Semi-annually), "A" (Annually), or "O" (Other).
This non-editable field displays the next due date for this test. The next due date is taken from the Next Due Date field in the Detail subtask when the Results field is "Pending."
Enter up to 256 alphanumeric characters for any comments you want to record for this row. This field is optional.
Select this pushbutton to open a subtask where you can enter additional information about this medical test for this employee. The subtask will be launched only if a row of the table is highlighted. If no row is highlighted and you select this pushbutton, the system will display the following message: "Please highlight the row for which you want to view detail." If you highlight multiple rows, the detail shown will be for the first highlighted row.
Changes to this screen update the HB_EMPL_MED_DATA table.
