PRINT FINANCIAL STATEMENT SETUP

Use this screen to print a listing of your financial statement layouts, with or without the accounts that are linked to the various financial statement lines. You can also print an Unmatched F/S Line Report, which details F/S Lines that do not have any accounts assigned to them.

You can print this report any time after setting up financial statements. It is especially useful for verifying the entry of your financial statement structure after you have set up financial statement codes and linked them to accounts in the Set Up Financial Statements screen.

This report is not part of the system audit trail, and therefore retention is not required. It can be reprinted any time. However, we recommend that you maintain a current copy of this report for reference purposes.

Sort

Select either the F/S Code radio button to sort the report by F/S line, or the Account radio button to sort the report by account. Your sort selection applies only to the Financial Statement Setup report; it will not affect the Unmatched F/S Line Report.

Show

Accounts

Select this checkbox to show the individual account numbers that belong to the F/S lines on your report. Leave it unchecked to print only the financial statement design, without related accounts. This option is available only if you are sorting by F/S Code. If you are sorting by Account, this option is grayed out, and accounts will automatically print on the report.

Select F/S Code

Use this group box to select the F/S Codes to be included on the report.

Range Option

From the drop-down box, select the range of F/S code(s) you need to include on this report. The available selections are "All," "One," "Range," "From Beginning," and "To End."

From/To

Enter the starting and/or ending F/S codes for the range of F/S codes you need to include on this report. You can also use Lookup to select the F/S codes. One, or both, of these fields may be disabled, depending on your Range Option selection.

Table Information

The information from the Set Up Financial Statements screen and from the Financial Statement Account Linkage subtask is the source for this report.

Hint: You can use the Save button on the toolbar to save your report parameters. You must provide a report ID and a description during the Save process. Once saved, you can use Query to retrieve your report parameters the next time you print. This can be especially helpful when running reports through Process Manager. (For more information on Process Manager, refer to Process Management Special Topic PM -1, "The Costpoint Process Server in Costpoint Process Management.")
