Use this subtask to view standard text notes attached to the selected component for the BOM of the selected assembly. You establish standard text code information in the Standard Text screen in Costpoint Product Definition, and assign it to the component part in the Maintain Parts screen (for standard parts) or Maintain Provisional Parts screen (for provisional parts) in Costpoint Product Definition. You can also assign standard text lines to the component part for the BOM assembly in the applicable MBOM or EBOM screens.
The fields in this group box provide basic information about the assembly.
This field displays the assembly or parent part of the BOM. A description of the part displays in the untitled field below this field.
This field displays the revision of the assembly or parent part of the BOM.
This field displays the release status of the BOM for the assembly part.
This field, based on the configuration identifiers entered in the main screen, displays the effectivity date that is being used to control which components are displayed.
