What Are the Deployment/Hosting Models for ConceptShare?

ConceptShare can be deployed in one of three ways: Multi-Tenant SaaS, Single Tenant (Segregated) SaaS, and On-Premises deployment.

Multi-Tenant SaaS ConceptShare hosts the service on its multi-tenant database. You will be provisioned an account that is available on a sub-domain.
  • V3 - iConceptShare.com (for example, yourcompany.iconceptshare.com)
  • V4 - ConceptShare.com (for example, yourcompany.conceptshare.com)
Single Tenant (Segregated) SaaS ConceptShare hosts the service on a dedicated database and configuration. ConceptShare can host the application on a URL that you own.
On-Premises Deployment ConceptShare can deploy the entire ConceptShare application on one of your servers. For this option, ensure that your company identifies IT resources to manage the timely installation and deployment of subsequent update releases.

Product Updates/Releases

Major or critical releases are pushed to all hosted instances (multi- or single-tenant) as soon as they have been validated. New installer files are made available to On-Premises customers and partners, but they are responsible for performing the update.

Minor Bugs, Enhancements, and Features are provided on two schedules: Standard Release Schedule (SRS) or Fixed Release Schedule (FRS).

Everyone on SRS receives all releases as soon as they are available.

Everyone who has purchased FRS receives releases on a quarterly basis and must coordinate with our Operations team to schedule the implementation of the release on their account (also known as an FRS Slide). Schedule between Monday, 09:00 to Thursday, 00:00, Eastern Time, with at least a 36-hour notice.

New FRS releases are supported for a maximum length of six months from the date of release. Many of our integration partners leverage this model for their end-customers because it provides a testing period to integrate new features and validate functionality.
