Edit a Smart Folder

Edit a Smart Folder to add or change the search criteria, and make it public or private. You can only edit Smart Folders that you created. You cannot make changes to Smart Folders created and made public by other users, or private folders shared to you. Your access to these settings is dependent on your version of ConceptShare.

Important: Smart Folders are available only in the Enterprise Edition of ConceptShare.
You must be an Account Administrator. If you are using a custom Account role, it must have the following permission(s) set to Yes:
  • Add, edit or delete all Public Smart Folders
  • Add, edit or delete their own Private Smart Folders

To edit a Smart Folder:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. At the top right corner of your screen, click the Gear Wheel > Smart Folders.
  3. On the Smart Folders dashboard, right-click a Smart Folder, and select Edit.
