Edit Account Role Dialog Box

Use the options in this dialog box to customize an Account Role.

What can be done to users

These settings determine if users assigned to this role should be able to create, edit, or delete resources from the account, and change another user's email address (login) and password.

Field Description
Add users This setting determines if the user can add other users to the account.
Edit users This setting determines if the user can edit user account information and permissions.
Change a user's password This setting determines if the user can change user passwords.
Change user's email address (username) This setting determines if the user can change other users' email addresses.
Remove a user from the account This setting determines if the user can remove other users from the account.

What can be done to Teams

These settings determine if users assigned to this role have the ability to create, edit, or delete Teams.

Field Description
Add Teams This setting determines if the user can add or create Teams.
Edit Teams (including Team Name, Managers, and Members) This setting determines if the user can edit Team information such as Team name, Managers, and members.
Delete Teams This setting determines if the user can delete Teams.

General

These settings determine what options are visible to users when they click Settings > Account.

Field Description
Manage account callbacks This setting determines if the user can manage Account callbacks, which are used to set up integrations between ConceptShare and other systems.
Important: Account Callbacks are available only in the Enterprise or Integrated Edition of ConceptShare.
Manage account Workflows This setting determines if the user can manage account Workflows (deprecated).
Important: Workflows are available only in the Enterprise Edition of ConceptShare.
View account usage information such as storage and user utilization This setting determines if the user can view account usage information such as storage capacity and user seat availability.
Configure integrations with third-party applications This setting determines if the user can configure integrations with third-party applications, which involves adjusting custom codes for integrating with other services.
Manage account settings This setting determines if the user can manage account settings, which involves adjusting account logins, passwords, time/date, and global notification settings.
Manage Account, Project, and Reviewer Roles This setting determines if the user can manage Account, Project, and Reviewer roles, which involves creating, editing, or deleting roles that control how users interact with ConceptShare.
Manage Account branding This setting determines if the user can manage Account branding, which involves setting the Account name, login screen logo, application header, email banner, and favicon.
Manage Account statuses (Asset, Deliverable phase, Project phase) This setting determines if the user can manage Account statuses, which involves creating, editing, or removing Asset statuses, Deliverable phases (deprecated), and Project phases. These are subcategories that can be applied to each of those objects to aid in project management.
Create, edit and delete Workflow Templates This setting determines if the user can create, edit, and delete Workflow templates (deprecated).
Important: Workflows are available only in the Enterprise Edition of ConceptShare.
Create, edit and delete Project Templates This setting determines if the user can create, edit, and delete the forms that can be used to generate Projects or Deliverables (deprecated) in the Account.
Important: Project Templates are available only in the Enterprise Edition of ConceptShare.
Add, edit or delete all Public Smart Folders This setting determines if the user can add, edit, or delete Smart Folders that are visible to all users.
Important: Smart Folders are available only in the Enterprise Edition of ConceptShare.
Add, edit or delete their own Private Smart Folders This setting determines if users can add, edit, or delete their own private Smart Folders that are visible to the owner.
Important: Smart Folders are available only in the Enterprise Edition of ConceptShare.
Create, edit and delete Custom Forms This setting determines if the user can create, edit, and delete custom forms. Custom forms enable you to gather relevant information (metadata) for your organization.

Manage Account SAML settings This setting determines if the user can manage Account SAML settings, which involves updating security assertion markup language configuration used for single sign-on.
Important: Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is available only in the Enterprise Edition of ConceptShare.
Manage Feedback Flags This setting determines if the user can manage Feedback flags, which involves creating, deleting, or editing Feedback flags.
Manage Feedback Flag Resolutions This setting determines if the user can manage Feedback flag resolutions, which involves creating, deleting, or editing Feedback flag resolutions.
Allow users to manage their own preferences and settings on the Account This setting determines if users can manage their own Account preferences and settings such as notifications, time format, and email digests.
Manage Electronic Signature Settings This setting determines if the user can manage electronic signature settings.

Project

These settings determine if users assigned to this role can create, archive, or delete Projects in ConceptShare.
Note: To edit or delete Projects that you do not own, your role must have the See all Projects option set to Yes.
Field Description
Add Projects This setting determines if users can create Projects.
Archive their own Projects This setting determines if users can archive or unarchive their own Projects.
Archive any Project This setting determines if users can archive or unarchive Projects that others created.
Delete Projects This setting determines if the user can delete Projects.
See all Projects This setting determines if the user can view all Projects.

Feeds

This setting determines if users assigned to this role can post directly on the Account-level Activity feed.

Field Description
Post to the Activity Feed This setting determines if the user can post to the Account-level Activity feed (as opposed to the Project-level Activity feed).
