Colorado FAMLI Wages Definition

Effective January 1, 2024, the Colorado Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) division has updated their definition of "wages" to now include pre-tax amounts. This change is already reflected in your CO Family Leave Report.

Minnesota Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) Law for Sick Accrual Rules

Effective January 1, 2024, Minnesota now has an Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) law affecting accrued sick leaves. To apply the necessary changes based on the ESST law, go to Payroll System > Maintenance Programs > Work on Sick/Vacation Pay > Work on Sick Accrual Rules.

Indiana Counties Tax Rates

The income tax rates of the following counties of Indiana have been updated for 2024:
  • Allen County
  • Blackford County
  • Crawford County
  • Floyd County
  • Howard County
  • Jefferson County
  • Ohio County
  • Pike County
  • Posey County
  • Putnam County
  • Ripley County
  • Steuben County
To apply this change, click Payroll System > Maintenance Programs > Tax Rate Maintenance > Local Tax Table Maintenance. On the Local Tax Table Maintenance dialog box, specify the county and year in the fields provided and click OK. And then, on the Rates tab of the 2024 Local Tax County window, enter the new amounts.
