Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Edit a Data Source

Use this procedure to modify current settings for a selected data source.

To edit a data source:

  1. On the Data Sources page, click Edit.
    Note: The Name field is disabled.
  2. In the Edit Data Source dialog box, perform the following:
    1. In the Database Owner field, modify the name of the database owner.
    2. In the Provider list, select another data provider to connect your data with, and click Configure.
      Depending on your selected provider, one of the following dialog boxes will display:
  3. On the Data Sources page, the Connection Information pane displays the updated connection information. Click Next.
  4. On the Options page, do one of the following:
    • Initialize Cobra system data
    • Define results
  5. Click Next.
  6. On the Confirmation page, click Finish to run the data tool process.
    The Process Complete dialog box displays, informing you whether the Data Tool has completed with or without errors. To display the corresponding processing information, click View Log.
