System Data to Restore

This topic contains information about the Cobra tables and data that are restored when running the Data Tool.

Note: ** indicates that only specific records are replaced.

Settings

This table contains Cobra settings. The following data is reset by the data tool:
  • Application settings

Report

This table contains report definitions. **

All the standard Report definitions are replaced. However, any reports that a user creates or saves in the 5.x database are retained. The best way to get a list of reports is to install a new Cobra, and then look at the list of Reports in the Explorer view.

Enums

This table contains internal Cobra system data. All records are replaced.

Spread

This table contains spread definitions.**

The full list of default spread curves is replaced. However, custom spread curves that the user defines in 5.x are retained in 5.x. The curves that are replaced are as follows:
  • Linear, Bell
  • Front Load
  • Back Load
  • Early Peak
  • Late Peak
  • Double Peak
  • First Period
  • Last Period

Cob_cat

This table is included in the list of tables that will be initialized. **

Cobra Menu Security

This table is also included in the list of tables that will be initialized. **

You can regenerate a list of securable menu items in the following tables:
  • WST_DCT
  • WST_PFA
  • WST_PFG
  • WST_PFD
  • WST_PSO

Initialize Data allows you to set the records of their respective tables to contain only those records found in the table on the SQL CE database.
