Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Status File Field Mapper Page of the Integration Wizard

Use this page to define the order of the fields in the status file.

Note: This page displays when importing a status file.

To define the field order:

  1. If the import file contains a header row, select the File contains a header row check box.
  2. Define the data code in each column by selecting values from a drop-down list on the first row of each column. Select from the following options in the drop-down list:
    OptionDescription
    <Ignore> Use this prompt to indicate ignoring the field.
    Control account key 1 This is the prompt for the field. This field is required.
    Control account key 2 This is the prompt for the field. This field is required if used in a project.
    Control account key 3 This is the prompt for the field. This field is required if used in a project.
    Work package This field is required.
    Milestone This field is required if the progress technique assigned to the work package is milestones or steps.
    Resource This is the resource assignment code when updating the percentage of completion on assignments.
    Budget Class This field is used when updating the percentage of completion on assignments.
    Actual Start Date This field is optional. Select this option only if you are updating % complete or units complete, or if you selected For schedule activities with percent complete and no actual start date, use the early start date as the Cobra actual start date on the Status page of the Integration Wizard.
    Actual Finish Date This field is optional. Select this option only if you are updating % complete or units complete, or if you selected For schedule activities with percent complete and no actual start date, use the early start date as the Cobra actual start date on the Status page of the Integration Wizard.
    Forecast Start Date This is the forecast start date.
    Forecast Finish Date This is the forecast finish date.
    Early Start Date This is the start date for a forecast using the early dates.
    Early Finish Date This is the finish date for a forecast using the early dates.
    Late Start Date This is the start date for a forecast using the late dates.
    Late Finish Date This is the finish date for a forecast using the late dates.
    Percent Complete This is a required field.
    Units Complete This updates the units complete for work packages that use Units to Do progress technique.
    Earned Value This is used in the calculation of the percentage of completion with the formula BCWP/BAC.
    BAC This is used in the calculation of the percent of completion with the formula BCWP/BAC.

    • Values in the drop-down lists depend on the options selected on the Action Selection page.

      You can use the <Ignore> option more than once to signify fields that the process should ignore during the import process.

      If you use the same field names as those in the drop down list and you indicate that the first row contains the field names then the fields are automatically selected.

      If you select the Budget At Complete and Earned fields, Cobra calculates the percent complete using the formula Earned/BAC. This option is useful when receiving earned value from a contractor.
