Resource Assignments Page of the Integration Wizard — Files
Use this page to define how resources are imported into the Cobra project from the file.
Budget
This group box is enabled only if you select Baseline start date as one of the columns on the Import File Field Mapper page.
Field | Description |

Default budget class |
A default class must be defined when importing budget data. Click to select a Cobra budget class. |
Load all budget into default class |
Select this option to import all resource assignments into the same class in Cobra. Note: If you select a control account-level class, only the resources of activities mapped to the control account are imported.
If there is a work package mapped on the Import File Field Mapper page and a value is found in the associated schedule field in an activity, resources assigned to the activity are not imported into a control account-level budget class. |
Load budget class from file |
Select this option to inform Cobra that a field in the activity file is assigned the class value. Below are some things you should note:

Load only these budget classes |
This field is enabled if you select the Load budget class from file option and select a value for it. Selecting a value in this field informs Cobra to filter the class being imported only to the selected classes. If this field is blank, all classes found in the file field are imported. Click to select from the distinct values in the selected file field where the class is to be imported from. Note: During the import process, Cobra imports assignment records only if they match the selected classes.

Forecast
This group box is enabled if Forecast start date is selected on the Import File Field Mapper page.

Default forecast class |
Click to select a forecast class in the Cobra project or template. This forecast class is used if no class is defined or if it is blank. Note: If the class is not found, the field is set to blank by default.

Load all forecast into the default class |
Select this option to import all forecast resource assignments into the same class in Cobra. |
Load forecast class from file |
This option is selected by default if you select Forecast class as one of the columns on the Import File Field Mapper page. Note: Selecting this option clears the
Load all forecast into the default class option.

Load only these forecast classes |
This field is enabled only if you select the Load forecast class from file option and select a value for it. Selecting a value in this field informs Cobra to filter the class being imported only to the selected classes. Click to select from the distinct values in the selected file field where the class is to be imported from. |
Replace existing forecast |
When this option is selected, Cobra performs the following actions:
Note: This option displays when importing into an existing project.
Selecting this option clears the Add to existing forecast option. |
Add to existing forecast |
Select this option to inform Cobra to add any imported values to those that already exist in the corresponding classes in Cobra.

Field | Description |

Calculate apportionment |
Select this option to enable the Define Calculation button. |
Define Calculation |
Click this button to display the Calculation Range and the Classes pages of the Calculate Apportionment wizard. Selecting this option informs Cobra to perform the apportionment calculation after the import process is complete. After importing the project into Cobra, the apportionment calculation runs and adds any apportioned resources to the project based on the defined apportionment mapping. Click Next on the Classes page to return to the Resource Assignment page of the Integration Wizard. Note: This button is enabled only if apportionment mappings are defined for the selected Cobra project.

Spread resource across activity dates |
Select this check box to specify whether or not Cobra should replace any blank dates in the resource assignment file with the baseline dates from the Import File Field Mapper page.

Use curves for resource spreads |
Select this check box to specify a spread curve in the resource assignment file by entering the spread curve in the resource assignment file. Note: This option applies only if the
Spread resource across activity dates check box is selected.
