Options Page of the Integration Wizard
Use this page to define options that you want to apply to the import process.
Contents
Field | Description |
---|---|
Print values of invalid records to the process log |
Select this option to save the result values of the actual cost import in the error log. |
Generate a separate process log for each sub project |
Select this option if you want information in the actual cost log file to be segregated into separate files for each sub project. The separate files are stored in a folder in the project directory with the same name as the sub project. This option is enabled only if the selected project is a master project. |
Allow posting actual costs to a planned Control Account or Work Package |
Select this option if you want to allow entry of actual costs against a control account or work package that has a status of planned. The planned status indicates that the control account or work package does not have an actual start date. This option is disabled if the option is disabled in the Actual Cost Preference tab of the Project Properties dialog box for the selected project. |
Use the status date as the actual start date when posting values |
Select this option to enable Cobra to automatically set the status of planned control accounts and work packages to In-Progress during the load actuals process. If the forecast start date is later than the status date, Cobra will change the start date to the day before the status date and open the control account or work package. If the forecast start date is earlier than the status date, Cobra will change the start date to the forecast start date. This option is available only if you selected the Allow posting actual costs to a planned Control Account or Work Package option. |
Allow posting actual costs to a completed Control Account or Work Package |
Select this option to allow the entry of actual costs against control accounts or work packages with a status of Complete. If this option is cleared, Cobra will not allow loading of actuals against a Control Account or Work Package that has an actual finish date earlier than the start of the current period. If they were closed in the current status period (for example, the actual finish date is between the end of the previous period and the current status date), Cobra will still load actuals for those completed control accounts and work packages. This option may be disabled by project in the Actual Cost Preference tab of the Project Properties dialog box. |
