Files Tab of the Project Properties Dialog Box
Use this tab to assign ancillary files to a project and to specify the level at which actual costs are captured for the project.
The default ancillary files displayed in the Files tab pane are the same ancillary files that you specified when you were creating the project using the New Project wizard.
Ancillary Files
Field | Description |
---|---|
Calendar | Select the calendar that you want to use for the project. |
Rate | This field defines the default rate file used for all classes in the project. You can define individual rate files for each class using the Classes tab of the Project Properties dialog box. |
Resource | Select the resource file that you want to use for the project. |
Rolling Wave Calendar | Select the rolling wave calendar that you want to use for the project.
This field is not required. Use this field only if you want to perform earned value calculations on a weekly basis. |
Rolling Wave | Click
Rolling Wave to display the Rolling Wave dialog box, where you can run the rolling wave process without advancing the calendar.
This button is available only if you select a calendar in the Rolling Wave field. |
Level at which to capture actual costs | The
Level at which to capture actual costs field displays the option that was selected when the project was being created in the New Project wizard. There are three options:
You cannot change the level at which to capture actual costs once the project audit log is turned on. |
IPMR Format 2 Summary | The
IPMR Format 2 Summary option displays the code files assigned to the resource on the project.
