Click this icon to mark the currently displayed opportunity as closed. Most commonly, you close an opportunity because you are no longer actively pursuing it. To do that, you assign it to a pipeline stage for closed opportunities, enter the date it was closed, and select a reason. You can also enter additional notes.
When you close an opportunity, the following occur:
- The opportunity status is set to Inactive.
- The opportunity is no longer displayed in selection lists of active opportunities.
- You cannot edit any of the information related to the opportunity.

This option is only available if the currently selected opportunity is closed. Click this option to reopen that opportunity. (To select a closed opportunity so you can reopen it, select
All in the filter list for the search field so that the search includes inactive opportunities.)
When you reopen a closed opportunity, the following occur:
- The opportunity status is set to Active.
- The opportunity is again displayed in opportunity selection lists.
- You can edit any of the information related to the opportunity.
- The original open date is restored and the number of days open is calculated based on that date.
- The
