Setting up security for managing financial statements

When you give members of a security group permission to manage financial statements, they can do the following:

  • Design and print a financial statement from within the Financial Statement Designer.
  • Create and change statement groups.

Members of a security group do not see the Reports > Manage Financial Statements > Designs option or the Reports > Manage Financial Statements > Groups option on the menu unless you give them permission.

Note: Give access to manage financial statements to a limited number of employees. In this way, you can keep track of the financial statement designs and statement groups that are made.

  1. From the Company menu, click Security.
  1. Click the security group you want to give permission to manage financial statements, and click Edit.
  2. On the General tab, select the Manage financial statements check box.

Ajera displays the Reports > Manage Financial Statements > Designs menu option and the Reports > Manage Financial Statements > Groups menu option for the security group members.

  1. Click Save.
