Setting up reporting entities

You can set up reporting entities only if you selected to use departments when setting up general company preferences.

To set up reporting entities, follow these steps:

Company > Financials > Departments

Ensure that your department names are detailed enough so you can easily identify them when setting up reporting entities.

Use only if you have a complex corporate structure.

Company > Financials > Organizational Levels

Define the different levels in your corporate structure.

Company > Financials > Reporting Entities

Create groups of related departments.

If using organizational levels, create reporting entities for the lowest level first and work upward, level by level.
