Reviewing organizational levels and reporting entities for multi-company

Organizational levels and reporting entities are based on the structure of your organization. If you are currently using Ajera with a single company, setting up multiple companies changes your organizational structure.

When you work with a single company, Company is the highest level in the organizational structure. When you work with multiple companies, Ajera automatically changes the highest level from Company to Organization.

If you have existing organizational levels and reporting entities, be sure to review and change them, as needed, so that they reflect this new structure and that they meet the reporting needs of your companies:

  1. Change your organizational levels to reflect the new organizational structure.
  2. Change your reporting entities so they report the information you want for the companies.
  3. Change your financial statement designs to ensure they use the reporting entities you want for the companies.
  4. Change your statement groups to ensure they use the reporting entities you want for the companies.
