Contact Type inquiry

You group similar contacts together in Ajera for reporting and retrieval.

Use this inquiry to see information about each contact type, such as description and status.

If needed, you can add predefined columns and view supplemental information such as order and notes.

Using the inquiry

From the Inquiry menu, click List > Contact Type.

Inquiry conditions

The inquiry automatically contains a condition to show only data for active contact types. You can always add, change, or delete conditions on an inquiry.

Contact

The description of the contact type

Examples: Client, Employee, Vendor

 

Status

 

The status of the contact type

Examples: Active, Inactive

 

Predefined columns

You can add predefined columns to this inquiry.

Contact

The database identifier of the contact type

 

Order

 

The position of the contact type in the Contact Type List window

Example: You may sort the inquiry by order so it mirrors the order of the Contact Type List.

Any notes about the contact type
