Projects Configuration Tab

Use this area to specify how often you want schedules for this project to be uploaded and the length of each reporting period.

The Window Close Date is calculated by adding the number of days listed in the Upload Window field to the Reporting Period.

Field	Description
Reporting Period	Specify the frequency at which you want schedules for this project to be uploaded. Weekly: The reporting period end date is always a Friday. Bi-Weekly: The reporting period starts on the date you specify in Start date of the bi-weekly periods and the end date is 14 days later, and every 14 days after that. Month End: The reporting period end date is always the last day of the month.
Start date of the bi-weekly periods	This field displays when you select a Bi-Weekly reporting period. Enter a start date for the first biweekly period.
Upload Window Start Offset	Use this field to specify the number of calendar days earlier (-n) or later (+n) you want the next upload window to start. When you open the upload window earlier, it allows submitters to upload their schedules several days before the end of the period to see the scores and make any needed changes so that when they complete their final upload at period end, their schedule is a higher quality. Enter a negative number to allow users to upload n number of days before the Upload Window date or enter a positive number to specify that users can only start uploading n number of days after the Upload Window date. For weekly reporting periods, you can enter an offset from -7 through 7. For bi-weekly reporting periods, you can enter an offset from -14 through 14. For month end reporting periods, you can enter an offset from -15 through 15. For monthly submittal periods, the total of the Upload Window and the Upload Window Start Offset must be 25 days or less. This prevents upload periods from overlapping. The default for this field is 0.
Upload Window (Calendar Days)	Enter the number of calendar days that you have, after the reporting period ends, to upload your schedule before Window Close Date. If you select a Weekly reporting period, you can select a number between 1 and 7. If you select a Bi-Weekly reporting period, you can select a number between 1 and 14. If you select a Month End reporting period, you can select a number between 1 and 31.

Templates

Field	Description
Field Mapping Template	View the associated field mapping template, or select the field mapping template that you want to use for the project. When you click the field mapping template name, Touchstone displays the template in the Field Mappings view. If you do not have rights to view the template, a message displays letting you know. Touchstone uses a standard import template to import data from schedule projects. However, it also allows you to custom map any data in the project file. The field mapping templates are defined in Templates > Field Mappings.
Acceptance Criteria Template	View the associated acceptance criteria template, or select the acceptance criteria template that you want to use for the project. This is a required field. When you click the acceptance criteria template name, Touchstone displays the template in the Acceptance Criteria view. If you do not have rights to view the template, a message displays letting you know. The acceptance criteria operate at the project level; that is, each project is associated with an acceptance criteria template that includes the metrics used to evaluate the submittals. When you submit a schedule in the Submittals view, Touchstone uses the acceptance criteria to determine if the schedule is accepted or rejected. If you delete an acceptance criteria template that is associated with a project (Templates > Acceptance Criteria), that project will no longer display in the Submittals view and the submitter will not be able to upload a schedule. To avoid this issue, if the acceptance criteria template that you have selected for this project is deleted, you must select a different template in this field. The acceptance criteria templates are defined in Templates > Acceptance Criteria.

Time Now Options

Use these fields to define current time now.

The Time Now date displays the exact date value extracted from the schedule file and is not adjusted to the local time zone. It is populated using data from the last snapshot for each associated project and displays None until at least one associated project has an uploaded snapshot. The Time Now field displays on the Projects Overview tab, in the Projects List view, and in the Submittals view. It displays in red when the value is not current as defined here.

Time Now is called Data Date in P6 and Status Date in Microsoft Project.

If you submit a schedule and the Time Now value is not current, Touchstone includes a warning in the email after the schedule is submitted. If you try to submit a schedule when the Time Now value is not current and the option to Reject submittals if the time now date is not current has been selected, Touchstone displays an error message and the schedule is not uploaded.

Field	Description
Current	Use this field to define "current time now." Equal to or Greater than the upload window start date Within the last nn days (relative to current system date) Within the last nn days (relative to window close date) When you select Within the last nn days, it means <number> of days prior to today's date. For example, if today is May 22 and you specify Within the last 7 days, it means that current time now is defined as being anytime from May 15 - 21. All options are relative to your browser's local time zone.
Time Now Window (Calendar Days)	If you select one of the Within the last nn days options in the Current field, you must select a number here as the nn value. The available options are based on the reporting period: 1 to 7 for weekly, 1 to 14 for bi-weekly, and 1 to 31 for monthly. For example, the reporting period ends on 11/19/2021 and the Window Close Date is 11/20/2021, if you set Current to Within the last nn days (relative to window close date), and you set this field to 5 days, you can upload your schedule anytime from five days before the Window Close Date, that is 11/15/2021 - 11/19/2021.
Reject Submittals if the time now date is not current	If this option is selected and a submitter tries to upload a schedule when the Time Now value is not current, Touchstone displays an error message and the schedule is not uploaded.
