Saving Changes
There are two ways that Touchstone saves changes.
Automatically Save
When you click the Pencil icon to edit a single field, as soon as you click out of the field, Touchstone automatically saves the change and a message flashes at the top of the view confirming that the change was saved.
Save Button
There are two situations where you need to click a Save button in the top right corner of the view to save the changes:
-
After you click + <New Item> at the top of a List or Detail view, and you enter the relevant information, you must click Save for the changes to be saved.
For example, after you click + New Project at the top of the Projects hub List or Detail view, or + New Acceptance Criteria Template at the top of the Acceptance Criteria List or Detail view and you enter the information, click the Save button.
- After you click the Edit button to edit fields in the Detail view, click the Save button.
