Filter the Grid Results

When there are a large number of records in a grid, you can filter the results to further refine the records that display.

To filter the rows in a grid:

  1. Click Filter in the upper-right corner of the grid.
  2. In the column by which you want to filter, click Operator and select an operator (for example, = Equals).
  3. In the filter field next to the operator, enter or select a filter value.
    The grid updates to display the records that fit the criteria that you enter. A filter icon displays to the left of the column name to indicate that you are filtering by a value in that column.
  4. To hide the filter fields, click Filter in the upper-right corner of the grid.
  5. To remove filter criteria, delete text from the filter field.
Unless you remove the filter criteria, the filter remains in effect as long as you are in that view. However, if you leave the view and then return, the filter is no longer in effect.
