Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Change the Way a Grid Sorts Information

Use column headings to sort the information in a grid in ascending or descending order.

The column in which a sort icon ( or ) displays is the current sort column, and the direction the icon points indicates whether the rows are sorted in ascending () or descending () order.

You can change the sort order in one of two ways:
  • To reverse the sort order without changing the current sort column, click the column heading for that column. The sort icon changes to indicate the new order.
  • To sort the rows based on the values in a different column, click the column heading for that column. The sort icon displays next to the heading for the new sort column.
