Add Metric Variables to the Metric Variables Tab

The only way to add metric variables to the Metric Variables tab is to import a metric library.

When you import a new metric library, the variables and values in the Variables grid (Settings > Metrics > Metric Variables tab) are overridden. If you have edited a name or value, the import will override those changes. The metric variable custom values in the Override Metric Variable Values grid are not overridden.

To import a metric file:

1. In the Navigation pane, under Settings, click Metrics.
2. At the top of the Metrics view, click Import a Metric File.
3. Select the .aft file (Acumen metric library) that you want to import and click Open.
   The metrics and metric variables are imported and the metric variables on the Metric Variables tab in Configuration are overwritten with the imported data.
