IPMDAR Schedule Export Options Wizard

Use this export wizard to export schedule data to an IPMDAR file.

In order to export schedule data to an IPMDAR file, you must first select IPMDAR Schedule Data in the Publish Data To group on the Deltek Acumen Options dialog box Platforms (IPMDAR) page. After you select this option, and you select a project in the Projects pane on the S1 // Project tab that is not an IPMDAR schedule project, Acumen enables the Publish > IPMDAR Schedule option on the S1 // Projects tab.

The IPMDAR Schedule Export Options wizard entails a three-step process. The following tables describe the available fields or options to each step:

Field	Description
Project	Select the project that you want to export. The list includes all projects in the workbook and defaults to the project you selected in the Projects Pane.
Use Current Field Settings	Select this option to use the existing field settings stored in the workbook.
Import Field Configuration From A File	Select this option to import settings from a configuration file.
Next	Click this button to proceed to select other export settings.
Cancel	Click to cancel the export.

Field	Description
Project	This is a read-only field. It displays the project that you selected on the previous screen.
Contract	If you have previously imported a list of contracts, use the drop-down to select one, or click the ellipses button and use the Manage Contracts dialog box to add or edit a contract. This is not saved in the configuration file.
Contractor	If you have previously imported a list of contractors, use the drop-down to select one, or click the ellipses button and use the Manage Contractors dialog box to add or edit a contractor. This is not saved in the configuration file.
Export only calendars in use	(Optional) Select if you want to export only those calendars that are in use. Leave blank if you want to export all calendars in the project.
Export only resources in use	(Optional) Select if you want to export only those resources that are in use. Leave blank if you want to export all resources in the project.
Configure Fields	Click to display the Configure Activity Fields dialog box to edit and configure activity fields. You must select a field for Work Package ID or Control Account ID. If you select a Control Account ID, you must also select a Work Package ID. Selecting a field for Task Planning Level is optional.
Custom Fields	(Optional) Click to display the Configure Custom Fields dialog box to edit and configure custom fields.
Back	Click this button if you need to change any selection on the previous screen.
Next	Click this button to proceed to the final step.
Cancel	Click to cancel the export.

Field	Description
Export File	Specify the IPMDAR file to which you want to export the data. You can enter a path and file name or click the ellipses to select a folder and file.
Append Month + Year to file name (MMMYY)	Select this option to append the month and year to the file name. This is useful if you want to use the same file name every time you export because by adding MMMYY, it makes the filename unique.
Save configuration to a file	Select this option to save the field settings to a file. You can enter a path and file name or click the ellipses to select a folder and file.
Back	Click this button if you need to change any selection on the previous screen.
Finish	When you click this button, the data is exported to the specified file. This button is enabled when all required fields have been completed.
Cancel	Click to cancel the export.
