Schedule and Send the Multicompany Analysis Report

The review of your database can take several minutes to complete, so you should schedule the review process even if you want it to begin immediately. Specify a schedule on which to run the Multicompany Analysis report and send it through email.

To schedule and send the report:

  1. On the Navigation menu in the desktop application, click Utilities > Analysis > Multicompany Analysis.
  2. Click the Schedule Analysis button.
    If you use the Vantagepoint Cloud product, continue with step 3.

    If you use the Vantagepoint on-premises product, go to the scheduling options in step 6.

  3. On the Send Email dialog box, enter the names of the recipients, subject, and the text of the message.
  4. In the File Type field, select a file output format for the report.
    If you want to send a link in an email that requires recipients to login to Vantagepoint to access the report, choose HTTP link to report output, and enter the number of hours to keep the report active in Archive Hours.
  5. Click the Schedule button.
  6. On the Schedule dialog box, configure the options to schedule the report to run at a later time or set the recurrence to run at specific schedules.
  7. Click OK.
