Select Multiple Activities in a Network View

Use this procedure to select activities in a network view.

To select activities:

1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in network view.
2. Take any of the following actions:
   • Select your starting point by placing the cursor on that area. While pressing the left mouse button, drag the cursor until all the activities you want to select are highlighted. Then, release the left mouse button.
   • Click the top left activity in your selection. Then, press the Shift key, and click the bottom right activity in your selection.
   • Click an activity. Then, press the Ctrl key while you click any other activities to include in the selection. You can use the Ctrl+click actions as a toggle to include or exclude activities in the selection.
   You can select the activities and moved, cut, or copied them as a unit.

   Note: You can use the technique of selecting and copying groups of activities to rapidly build a project network. Open Plan automatically assigns unique IDs to the new activities based on the ID template.
