Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Review a Demonstration Project

Use this procedure to review a demonstration project.

Note: If the demonstration data does not exist, check with your system administrator. It is possible that the system administrator has removed the demonstration data from the data source.

To review a demonstration project:

  1. From the left pane of Open Plan Explorer, expand the Projects folder.
    Each item in the Projects folder is a subfolder that contains all the files for a demonstration project.
  2. Expand a project.
    You can also open a demonstration project from the File Open dialog box that is accessed from the File menu.
  3. From the expanded project in the right pane of Open Plan Explorer, double-click the Project Views folder.
  4. Double-click one of the views in the list.
  5. Make the changes required in the displayed view and then open a different view to see how your changes are reflected there.
  6. If the project you opened has associated resource, calendar, or code files, open these views as well.
  7. When finished reviewing a demonstration project, take one of the following actions:
    • To save your data to a file with a new name, click Save As on the File menu.
    • To close the project, click Close on the File menu.
