Create a Note Category

Use this procedure to create a note category.

To create a note category:

  1. In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, display the view for which you want to create a note category.
  2. In the Custom Fields menu group of the Tools tab, click Notes.
  3. From the Table drop-down list in the Note Categories dialog box, select the table for which you want to create a note category, and click New.
  4. In the Note Category dialog box, enter a name and description for the new note category, and click OK.
