Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase. Ex."system administration"
And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria. Ex.system + administration
Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default. Ex.system administration
Change the Hierarchy Display Layout Settings
Use this procedure to change the hierarchy display layout settings.
To change the spread layout on resource and code hierarchy displays:
Take one of the following actions:
Enable the setting:
Right-click an empty area of a Code or Resource view and click
Preferences on the context menu.
On the Options tab, select
Spread in the
Hierarchy Display Options group box.
Disable the setting:
Right-click an empty area of a Code or Resource view and click
Preferences on the context menu.
On the Options tab, select
Ladder in the
Hierarchy Display Options group box.
