Working in Read Only Mode

If you have opened a file in Read Only mode, it is possible for other users to have access to the same file in any mode.

If another user who has the file open in Exclusive or Shared mode makes changes to the information, you cannot see the effect of those changes unless you close the file and reopen it. Also, you cannot make any changes to the file while in Read Only mode.
