Set Edits to Read-Only Files

Use this procedure to edit read-only files in Open Plan and save them using a new name.

To set edits to read-only files:

1. On the File menu, click Preferences > Application.
2. On the Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
3. Click the Default button.
4. Scroll to the end of the grid.
5. In the Category column, enter the value _ALLOW_EDIT_READONLY.
6. In the Default Value column, enter the desired numeric value.
7. Click OK to dismiss the System Preferences dialog box.
8. Click OK to dismiss the Options dialog box.
