Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Run Time Analysis in Batch Mode

Use this procedure to run time analysis in Batch mode.

To run time analysis in Batch mode:

  1. Select more than one project in the Open Plan Explorer Details pane and click Perform Time Analysis.
  2. In the Time Analysis [Batch Mode] dialog box, set your options and then click OK.
    • If a project is closed, Open Plan will open it in Exclusive mode, perform the process, save the changes, and then close the project.
    • If a project cannot be opened in Exclusive mode (because another user has it open in Exclusive or Shared mode), it will be skipped.
    • If you have a project open when the batch process is run, time analysis will be performed on the project but the changes will not be saved and the project will remain open. You must manually save the changes yourself.
