Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Replace a Requested Resource with a Suggested Resource

Use the Activity Resource Allocation dialog box to replace a requested resource.

To replace a requested resource with a suggested resource:

  1. In Open Plan Explorer, display a project in any view except Histogram View and Risk View.  
  2. Take one of the following actions:
    • Select the activity for which you want to replace resources, and click Allocate in the Resources menu group of the Edit tab.
    • Right-click the activity, and click Allocation on the shortcut menu.
  3. In the Activity Resource Allocation dialog box, select the assignment, and click Accept.
  4. To return to the view, click OK.
