Importing Primavera P6 Data
Use the Oracle Primavera Import Wizard to import Oracle Primavera P6 projects from P6 web or a P6 XER or XML file.
The import facility provides seamless integration with Primavera's current standard data formats.
You can import P6 XER or XML files or you can import multiple projects from P6 Web as long as they are all from the same P6 website and database. When you import, you can create a new Open Plan project, or update an existing Open Plan project and create new or share existing resources, codes, and calendars.
When you import P6 baseline resource data using an Open Plan project with an assigned reporting calendar, Open Plan groups all assignments to the same activity/resource and spreads their levels and costs into fiscal periods. If there is no assigned reporting calendar to your project, Open Plan creates a single baseline usage record based on the baseline assignment dates in P6 during baseline import.
