  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Enter Progress Information in the Barchart View

Use this procedure to enter progress information in the barchart view.

To enter activity progress information in the barchart view:

  1. Assign the Progress Barchart view to your project by dragging the Progress Barchart file from the Views folder in the Open Plan Library onto your project.
  2. Open the Progress Barchart view of your project.
  3. Place the cursor at the left edge of the activity bar for which you want to enter progress.
    The cursor changes to a it-setprogress.gif symbol.
  4. Drag the cursor to the appropriate position.
    While you drag the end of the bar, a pop-up display indicates the remaining duration and percent complete represented by the cursor position. To cancel the new progress information, press Esc.

    The progress represented by dragging the cursor is linear even if the date scale is non-linear.
