Edit a Relationship in Relationship Mode
Use this procedure to edit a relationship in Relationship mode.
To edit a relationship in Relationship mode:
- In the Project Views folder of Open Plan Explorer, select a project to display in barchart view.

Take one of the following actions:
- Position the cursor at the beginning or end of a relationship line, and when it changes shape to a cross-hair, right-click, and click
Edit Relationship on the context menu.
Use the Edit Relationship dialog box to make changes.
- Double-click the predecessor or successor activity, and click the Relationship tab in the Activity Details dialog box.
Use the Relationships tab to make changes.
- Position the cursor at the beginning or end of a relationship line, and when it changes shape to a cross-hair, right-click, and click
Edit Relationship on the context menu.
Note: You can also add, edit, and delete data for predecessors and successors directly in a cell of any activity-based spreadsheets. The
Activity Predecessors and Activity Successors columns display the predecessor/successor ID, relationship type, and lag of the relationship (which is optional and may be negative) in each cell using the format
<Predecessor/Successor ID><space><relationship type><+/-Lag>. For example,
1.02 SF+3d.
