Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.
    Ex.system administration

Edit a Data Source Connection

Use this procedure to edit a data source connection.

To edit a data source connection:

  1. From the File menu, click Preferences > Data Sources.
  2. In the Data Sources dialog box, select the data source that you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Edit Data Source dialog box, make any needed modifications.
  5. Click DataLink Properties.
  6. In the Windows Data Link Properties dialog box, enter the appropriate settings for the data source.
  7. Click OK to return to the Edit Data Source dialog box.
  8. Click OK.
