Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Display the Global Edit Definition Dialog Box

Use this procedure to display the Global Edit Definition dialog box.

To display the Global Edit Definition dialog box:

  1. In the Project Views folder of  Open Plan Explorer, select a project or ancillary file to display in any view.
  2. In the Manage menu group of the Tools tab of the selected view, click Global Edits.
  3. In the Global Edits dialog box, click, New, Copy, or Edit.
    The Copy and Edit buttons are available only if you selected a value in the Global Edits dialog box.
