Creating a Shortcut
You can easily create a shortcut to a Windows application, file, or URL in various Open Plan folders.
You can create a shortcut to any of the following Open Plan folders:
- The first level of My Folder
- The Startup folder
- Any user-created folder
Placing a shortcut in the Startup folder automatically launches it when you start Open Plan. For example, if you want Windows Notepad to automatically start when Open Plan starts, you would place a shortcut to Windows Notepad in the Startup folder. Open Plan also enables you to edit the properties of a shortcut using a Properties dialog box.
- You can suppress the automatic loading of items in the Startup folder by pressing and holding the CTRL key after launching Open Plan.
- You can change the properties of a shortcut by displaying its Properties dialog box.
