Use this field to select one of the following options:
- Quantity: When this option is selected, each bar displays the quantity of resource units assigned or used. Depending on the
Values For option selected, the values may represent an average, a cumulative total, or an incremental value for the period defined by the date unit.
- Cost: When this option is selected, calculations for the resource bars are based on unescalated costs. Depending on the
Values For option selected, the values may represent an average, a cumulative total, or an incremental value for the period defined by the date unit.
- Escalated Cost: When this option is selected, calculations for the resource bars are based on escalated costs. Depending on the

Use this field to select one of the following options:
- Average: When this option is selected, each bar represents the average value for the default duration unit used by the project. Open Plan calculates this average over the smallest time unit displayed on the date scale and uses the resource calendar of the first available record to determine valid working periods. If no resource calendar is available, then the default project calendar is used. (If you have not assigned a calendar to the project, Open Plan assumes a 5-day, 40-hour work week.) Depending on the
Calculate option selected, the displayed value may represent a quantity, unescalated cost, or escalated cost.
- Total: When this option is selected each bar represents a cumulative resource value. Depending on the

- Period: When this option is selected, each bar represents the value for the smallest time unit displayed on the date scale. Depending on the
