  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Numeric Axis Preferences Dialog Box

Use the fields and options to configure the Numeric Axis Preferences dialog box.

Data Range

Use these fields to enter the upper and lower limits of the numeric range you wish to display on the barchart heading. You can enter any range, but if you click the Calculate button, the scale is set to the minimum size that will contain the data in the current sort column.

Use this field to enter the beginning of the desired data range you wish to display on the barchart heading.

To

Use this field to enter the upper end of the data range you wish to display on the barchart heading.

Field Description
Marker Interval

Use this field to enter the frequency with which marker labels will display on the barchart heading. For example, enter 5 to set the main intervals at 0, 5, 10, 15, and so on.

Show Full Grid

Select this option to enable the display of vertical grid lines in the barchart area of the Tornado Chart at the selected marker intervals.

Show Minor Tick Marks

Select this option to show minor tick marks on the Tornado Chart heading.

Minor Ticks per Marker Interval

With the Show Minor Tick Marks option enabled, specify the number of minor marks to display between the marker intervals on the Tornado Chart heading.

Text Color

Use this field to specify the color of the text labels, marker intervals, and minor tick marks in the Tornado Chart heading.

Background Color

Use this field to specify the background color of the Tornado Chart heading.

Buttons

The table below provides information about the buttons in this dialog box.

Button Description
Calculate Click this button to size the heading scale to fit the selected data.
Font Click this button to specify the font used for the marker interval labels.
